Nokia to Get Mobile MS Office Soon

Nokia has publicized the Nokia-Microsoft deal. Adding, as anticipated, the agreement was regarding the introduction of “Official” Microsoft Office products for Nokia smartphones.

From the year 2010, the E-Series smartphone would be proficient to use Official Microsoft applications for accessing and editing word documents, presentations and of course, spreadsheets. Also, it is appealing to note that there are “unofficial” third party applications that perform this pretty comprehensively.

Further, the deal appears to have come due to Microsoft’s turf being continuously intruded upon by the likes of Google and Sun Micrososystems with its web-based office tools. Moreover, Nokia has with its smartphone range and it was just a matter of moment Microsoft come up to them for this deal. And it is a succeed state for both the companies.

In the coming year, the first versions of its “made for Nokia” will hit the shelves, as per Microsoft. Also, the online version is included and that will permit users access Word, Excel and PowerPoint right with the web browser in the mobile.
