A call made to any other network across India will be charged one paise/sec. The SMS rates are fixed as 25 paise for local, Re.1/- for National and Rs.2.50/- for International SMS.
MTNL also introduces lowest data usage rate of just 1 paisa/10KB which will be applicable for GPRS and3G services. The plan thus packages lowest tariffs of voice call/video call/SMS/data services all together.

Intra network local and STD calls will now be charged at the new rate under the new plan. Both the prepaid and postpaid subscribers can avail the new rates.
