Nokia launches N96 in India

Finnish based mobile manufacturer, Nokia has launched its much expected Nokia N96 in the Indian market today. The phone will cost Rs. 35000 (Rs. 1000 less than iPhone 16GB version) in the Indian market and will be available in stores by September 16.

Touted to be the iPhone killer, with 16GB memory which can be extended to 24 GB using microSD and 5 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, flash and video light, Nokia N96 configuration is the best among all the N-series models and it is worth for its price. Nokia N96 has 2.8-inch TFT display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution and 16 million colors. It runs on a Dual ARM 9 264 MHz CPU and comes with 128MB RAM, 256MB storage memory and 16GB of internal memory. With 24GB expandable memory, user can store upto 2000 images or 60 hours of video or 20 full movies in the handset. Nokia N96 comes up with inbuilt 3D stereo speakers and offers Audio playback time upto 14 hrs and Video playback time of 5 hours.
