BSNL 3G now in ‘Manchester of SouthIndia’ & exceeds 7.5lakh subscriber base

BSNL 3G subscriber base exceeds 7 lakh within a short period of time. Today BSNL launched its 3G services at Coimbatore, Ooty, and Coonoor, which comes under Tamil Nadu circle. BSNL Tamil Nadu circle bags a credit that it was the first city in south India to get 3G services. It is expected that 7.5 lakh 3G subscriber base will further widens with the expansion of services.

Recently BSNL wrapped Kerala with its 3G services at Rs 650 crore and it vibrates 21 cities covering all the district headquarters in Kerala Circle were being provided with the latest 3.5G technology-based coverage.

On Value Added Service in BSNL, Mr Sirohi added that “Approx 50 Million ring tones are downloaded every month using BSNL 2G and 3G GSM network. The Indian Premier League shall be merging with Youtube and the cricket match can be viewed from the cell phone with a staggering 36 camera view options.

The speed of BSNL 3G is 3.5Mbps if the download speed is enhanced or the bandwidth is increased, user will have an enriched experience by downloading movies, games, and utilities at a faster rate.”
