Tata Indicom partners Samsung to launch Data Services on Samsung Corby

Tata Indicom partners  Samsung to launch first ever high speed data enabled (Photon +) services on Corby. Tata Indicom has introduced Samsung Corby, as it’s the first high end open market handset device that will be available to all Tata Indicom customers across India.

Tata Indicom gains the credit of ranking first, as it has announced the first ever high speed data enabled mobile device on CDMA platform. It’s tie-up with Samsung is the first step to offer mobile phones that supports voice and data.

With this launch prepaid and postpaid subscribers will get 10 GB as free trial usage to use in the first two months on Samsung Corby. Tata Indicom has also come up with boasting plans and data recharges for postpaid and prepaid subscribers respectively.

This New Year is a special treat for Tata Indicom users as it has made its prepaid and postpaid users to access their personal mail accounts, social networking sites, and to download various chat accounts effortlessly.

Prepaid Recharge:

There are 3 different recharge denominations,

  • Subscribers can access internet at any time anywhere with recharge option of Rs28.
  • RCV 152 offers 50p per MB from 7.00 AM to 1.00 PM.
  • Special night surfing plan @25p per MB from 11.00 PM to 7.00 AM.
  • RCV 351 offers data surfing at just 25p/MB throughout the day.
  • The recharge validity is 30 days from the day of recharge.

Postpaid Recharge:

  • Postpaid subscribers also enjoy the free trial usage of 10 GB for the first two months.
  • Post consumption of free trial period will be charged 50p/MB for any additional data usage.
  • Rental plan of Samsung Corby 450 plan allows customers to avail 512 MB post which the customers will be charged 50p/MB.
  • All local calls to any network will be charged 30p/min under aggressive voice plan, whereas all STD and roaming calls will be charged at only 50p/min.
  • All local and national SMS will be charged 50p per SMS.

Meanwhile existing prepaid subscribers can upgrade to Samsung Corby without using any recharge vouchers. Even without using data recharges, prepaid subscribers will be charged Rs 1 for every MB data usage.
