HTC HD2 has hit the Indian market as well we have broadly explained its features in our former post. But now it is the right time to analyze and discover the pros and cons of the equipment.

Advantages:

• Huge 4.3″ 65K-color WVGA glass-covered capacitive touchscreen.
• First Windows Mobile Smartphone
• Captures videos at VGA resolution
• QWERTY keyboard
• Slim and thin with good packing.
• Faster processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon QSD8250 1 GHz CPU), multi tasking,and 5 MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash and touch focus.

• Stereo FM radio with RDS, Quad-band GSM support, and 3G with HSDPA 7.2Mbps
• Transforms TouchFLO 3D with new SenseUI.
• Improved Pocket PC horizon with the removal of WinMo unfriendliness.
• 448 MB RAM, multi-touch input, and Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional OS.
• microUSB port, 3.5mm headphone jack and microSD card slot.
• Facebook, Tweeter and YouTube.
• Good battery life.
• Eliminates environmental noises so that callers here your voice clearly.
• Two alternative ways of synchronizing your contacts with their corresponding Facebook profiles.

1. You can get a list of all matching entries through the Updates and Events tab and synchronize them right away.
2. The other available option is to link your contacts to their corresponding profiles one by one.

• Peep Application: Just enter your account details and get down to tweeting right away.
• You Tube: Browse videos based on relevant category.
• Email: Automated setup for Outlook, Google , AOL., E-mail preview, and mailtab.

Disadvantages:

• HTC HD2 size is similar to Toshiba TG01.
• Posses only 4.3″ display.
• No fascinating video captures sounds good in indoor.
• No voice dialing, secondary video call camera and handwriting recognition.
• No lens cover, camera key, and crooked web Flash support
• Inconvenient for the users with singlehanded operation and actual phone calls.
• Poor sunlight legibility

• 1,230 mAh battery seems inadequate for a cell phone like HTC HD2.
• 65K color limitation of display has color gradients banding
• No Multi-task manager.
• Card slot under the battery cover
• Lack of shortcut due to enormous menus.
• If you opt for Internet Explorer, you won´t be able to zoom via multitouch
• Audio lacks proper deep and the power of the loud speaker is usual.
• It cannot play cannot play DivX, Xvid and H.264 videos.
• Preloaded CoPilot Live navigation software is a trial version
• CorePlayer allows watching H.264 files as well, but at lower resolution so as to avoid skipping of frames.
• Slight drawback in user interface.

Verdict:

HTC HD2 is a good Smartphone which boasts enriched functions with SenseUI, this would be a best equipment for the people who are all passionate about social networking.
