Samsung unveiled Samsung H1 phone with Vodafone 360 today

Samsung with its alliance Vodafone has launched a H1 social networking phone Samsung Vodafone 360 M1. This phone comes with a 3.2-inch TFT screen, 3-megapixel camera, 1GB memory, HSDPA support and runs the new version (R2) of the platform developed by LiMo Foundation.

It is a modern Smartphone and we can see Facebook status updates. In order toad information to Facebook you need to go to the Facebook web page. That’s the full desktop web page, not a special app designed for the H1’s small screen.
Samsung Vodafone M1 specifications:
- Vodafone M1 belongs to the network type of 2G (GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900) and 3G (HSDPA 2100).
- It weighs 111g with a dimension of 55.4 x 112 x 13.4 mm.
- The phone comes with 3.5 inches OLED screen with 16 million colors and 3d user interface.
- It bags video (VGA@15fps) and a 3mp camera featured with auto focus, Flash: LED, digital zoom, and an additional camera for video calls.
- It connects through GPRS (Class 10 (4+1/3+2 slots), 32 – 48 kbps), EDGE (Class 10, 236.8 kbps), 3G (HSDPA, 3.6 Mbps), Bluetooth (v2.0 with A2DP), and USB (v2.0).
- Vodafone M1 has an internal memory of 1 GB and a microSD card slot of up to 16GB.
- Samsung H1 runs on LiMo – Linux Mobile – Release 2 operating system with a CPU of type ARM Cortex A8 600 MHz, PowerVR SGX graphics.
- The handset also features messaging (SMS, MMS), browser (HTML), radio (Stereo FM radio with RDS), GPS (A-GPS), games, and java application.
- It has a standard battery of type Li-Ion 1500mAh with a standard talktime of 10h for 2G handset and 6h 40min for 3G handsets.
- It has a predictive input facility with Opera Mobile 9.6 browser.
Samsung Vodafone 360 M1 sparkles in black, white, and red. It is also outfitted with a 5Mp camera at back. Buttons and connectors run to an on/off switch and 3.5mm headphone socket on the top, a volume/zoom rocker.
The search button opens up a generic search screen which lets you track through the phone and memory card storage, Vodafone 360’s list of members, Vodafone’s online store, and Google.
The phone’s contacts and photos are automatically backed up to an area you get into with your Vodafone 360 login at www.360.com. We can view and share our photos with Vodafone friends. We can stay in touch with the buddies through SMS, email and can acquire our own name@360.com address.
