Tata Indicom set to launch local @ 30p/min & STD calls @ 50p/min in a week

Tata Indicom has set a view to fire new tariff rate for local and STD calls. It has unveiled that it may introduce 30 paisa per minute charge for all local calls and 50 paisa per minute for STD calls within a week.

Tata Indicom has a plan to introduce a tariff voucher for migration to aid the  existing customers but the price is not yet decided. This migratory plan was revealed during the launch of new Tata Walky phone models and internet phones.

Tata Walky gets an extension for Pay Per Call (PPC) scheme and it offers call duration of up to 10 minutes at Re 1. For plan migration a new customer has to buy a PPC pack worth Rs 50 whereas the existing customer has to undergo a recharge with Rs 7.

But the launch date of the plan is kept concealed. However the company is rocking with one lakh Walky subscribers along with the wireless market share of up to 60%.
