Nokia offers Instant Messaging by Windows Live Messenger

Nokia has attained a one more mark by bidding the most admired instant messaging service all the way through, Windows Live Messenger, People across the globe can now have a multiple conversations simultaneously, and it can be accessible through the Nokia Messaging Chat application, Yahoo messenger, Google Talk, and Ovi communities.

The Nokia E72 is the first device that comes with Chat and support for Windows Live™ Messenger, while the Nokia E63, Nokia E71 and Nokia E75 require a download of ‘Nokia Messaging for IM’ from Ovi stores.
On installing Windows Live Messenger in Nokia device, the following will be the trait of Nokia messaging service,
- Tabbed chat windows: It provides the ability to call directly from the buddy list, and notifications of new messages that pop up while the application is in the background making multitasking even easier.
- Invisible login: It is an optional which means you can sign in to Windows Live Messenger but still appear offline to your friends that facilitates you to choose the one whom you want to talk to.
- Desktop features such as grouped contacts, emoticons, graphics, and sounds are also available.
- Save conversations to remember your chat sessions.
- It offers quick navigations with a background notification of new IMs for true multitasking on your phone.
