An integrated iPhone app for wheelchair users

Dynamic Controls offers a cool navigation and it has just taken the wraps off of its new iPhone application. Technology can be used to help everyone in so many different ways and Dynamic Controls is an instance of great interest to those who use a wheelchair on a daily basis.

The application will aid the wheelchair via Bluetooth and it also allows users to get real-time information, speed information, and compass data. A cradle is available to mount the iPhone or iPod touch onto the wheelchair.

Other benefits include the incorporation of an on-chair charger for the iPhone and a ‘chair doctor’ wheelchair diagnostics feature that interprets any problems with the wheelchair.

The new technology operates with an iPhone 3G, 3GS, iPod touch V2.0 and 3.0. It can easily be fitted to any new or existing Dynamic Controls DX2, DX or Shark wheelchair control system without reprogramming the wheelchair.

ichairmain-custom-2-It is specially designed for the physically challenged persons and its connectivity features include displaying the status of wheelchair, through to computer mouse control, IR and Wi-Fi appliance control, on-chair connected devices as well as direct access to Dynamic Controls’ website with content of interest to wheelchair users.

Dynamic Control is confident that it will exceed its initial expectations when the product gets launched on April 2010.
