Nokia N900 Projected to Thump the Market by November

Nokia confirms the date of releasing its new progeny N900 by November. The widely anticipated Nokia land by November 16; a delay is due to a wait for the feedback of software developers who were equipped with 300 pre-production units.

Salient features of Nokia N900:

• Nokia N900 will be the first from the world’s crest phone designer to use an open-source Linux operating system.

• The browser is built by Mozilla and ensures the best possible mobile internet browsing, with functionality identical to PC.

• It is massively a supremacy device with 1GB of ram, an ARM Coretex-A8 processor and has OPENGL ES 2.0 graphics capability that enables multi tasking facility.

• The apparatus runs on the latest Maemo 5 software, and that enables multiple application windows to operate simultaneously.

• Moreover, N900 home screen can be made customized with the desired shortcuts, applications and widgets.

• The device ensures with the high-resolution WVGA touch screen and HSPA and WLAN internet connectivity and it enhances the browsing experience

• N900 with its QWERTY keyboard is an ideal tool for writing emails and sending text messages at rapid speed.

• It has a 32GB of storage, which can be increased to 48GB with a microSD card.

• The apparatus is aided with a splendid Carl Zeiss 5MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash, 3x digital zoom and VGA video recording at 30 frames per second.

• TMS320C64x is clocked at 430 MHz to run the camera, audio processing, and telephony and also to perform data transmission offloaded from the main Cortex A8 core.

The most awaited Nokia N900 will be available at a price tag of around 500Euros. But there is no release regarding the price details of N900 in Indian market. It is expected that shipping services will begin shortly for the customers, who have already pre-ordered the device.
