Tata DOCOMO has achieved yet another intention and make thrilled its consumers by overhauling its ‘CoMix on-the-go’ the Value Added Services with special effects. This is the joint venture of Tata Docomo and Zero-Sum Wireless Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
Tata DOCOMO Comix-on-the-go is a exclusive first-time-ever novelty in mobile mythology. The dazzling advantage is that one can read full comic book content that ranges to about 2000 titles which creeps from the ‘Mythological tales’ to the all popular ‘Supandi’ from Amar Chitra Katha, children favorite characters ‘Mickey Mouse’, ‘Winnie the Pooh’ and ‘Princess Diaries’ from Disney like and the powerful characters like ‘Sadhu’ and ‘Devi’ from Liquid comics.
The Tata DOCOMO Comix-on-the-go has come up with the growling multimedia features like character vibration, sounds, zooming text bubbles which magnify the praise for better reading, and above all downloads smoothly on a 2.5 Edge Network. With this Tata Docomo has achieved a comparatively newer zeal by providing an experience very similar to Amazon’s book-reader, Kindle, for graphically-rich, comic content.

Scroll view :
The scroll view displays a page of the comic directly and the user can view the entire page by scrolling up and down.
Picture-story view:
- The picture-story view displays the cartoon frame by frame, with each frame displayed at the best possible size.
- The option to scroll and add various effects in the comic strip is also available, but the feature is largely dependent on the data speed and some of these would be 3G features.
This service comes at an affordable price of just Rs. 20/- per full comic book valid for 1 year. The scheme is blended with progressive technology in terms of mobile technology. Zero-Sum aims at building a posy of products and services pertinent to the current Indian mobile circumstances.
How to plug-on ‘CoMix on-the-go’:
- Look up for “Dive-In” wap portal on your TATA DOCOMO phone and click on the “Comix on-the-go”.
- Download the most favourite comix from the extensive list available as one’s own wish. There are no data charges for downloading and browsing comics and application on TATA DOCOMO home and roaming network.
- The comic reader is downloaded by downloading the application form which is freely available on TATA DOCOMO home and Roaming network.
- While on roaming with Non TATA DOCOMO network standard data rates will be applicable. The application will be present in your applications/installations folder of your phone with the name “Comix on-the-go”.
- Once the application is downloaded all the downloaded comix will be stored in its library and there is no need for downloading them again, we can check it from catalog in the Comic reader itself and don’t need to visit the portal again.
