BSNL-IPTV goes commercial at Chennai

Chennai – Bsnl announced the rise of its’ commercial IPTV, marking an end to free IPTV viewing which serviced chennaites for almost three months.

Chennai Telephones will be extending it’s IPTV services by offering 140 channels with varying packages in the range Rs. 100-Rs. 300. Currently, all channels are being charged Rs. 100 each, except for the Premium Sports Channels.

Apart from its’ launch at Chennai, BSNL partnered itself with MyWay IPTV in launching series of IPTV services in Coimbatore, Trichy, Madurai and Puducherry.

Features of BSNL-IPTV:

1) BSNL-IPTV allows users to download movies on their computers and watch them at a convenient time.

2) Users can pre-set the record facility for a favourite programme and watch it at a convenient time later.

3) Users can pause or rewind a movie or a programme according to their needs.

4) Movies/TV Programmes On-Demand.

5) Interactive services.

6) e-mail, Chat and SMS on your Television.

7) Value Added Services(VAS) such as booking railway tickets and PNR number check are amongst the more familiar features in BSNL-IPTV.
