RCom to introduce sachet pricing to drive VAS usage volumes

Posted on the June 25th, 2009 under Mobile Service Providers, Reliance by vicky

Devised as a sachet pricing, Reliance Communications is on the verge of cooling its subscribers, especially the pre-paid, by translating its plans to suit the flexible modes. The shift is from the monthly consolidated subscription to a shredded subscription which will be operative under value added services. The 85% of the 68 million GSM and CDMA pre-paid subscribers will get this booster from Reliance. The potential customer will avail, after entering into VAS application, this sachet pricing- from the monthly plan to day plan or view plan- a Rs30 caller subscription may be converted to Re1/day price module.
