BSNL slashed Postpaid Tariffs

State-run PSU is going very aggressive as it announced new plans for its postpaid subscribers in an effort to make the tariffs more economical.

As per new schemes announced, Plan-225 and Plan-325 will offer night calling features as 50 percent reduced charges. Plan-525 and Plan-999 will offer unlimited night calling.

Plan-99 and Plan-198 will offer 50 minutes of free calls in intra circle network.

The company announced withdrawing Plan-299 and all such subscribers will be shifted to Plan-225 with intra network calls at 60 paise and free call worth Rs 125. Plan-725 will offer fee 725 STD minutes.

Plan-490 has been reduced as well and the subscribers shifted to Plan-425. The scheme offers, calls anywhere in India for 50 paise.

Additionally, the company also slashed tariffs for mobile data services. Plan-325, Plan-425 and Plan-525 will offer free GPRS varying from 5 MB to 50 MB. Plan-725 and Plan-999 will offer unlimited GPRS facility.

Incoming roaming charges have also been slashed while roaming on BSNL’s network for Plan-425, Plan-525 and Plan-725. Plan-525 will offer 300 minutes of free incoming.

The company has also withdrawn Plan-550 and subscribers will now be shifted to Plan-525. The new plan offers free calls worth Rs 300, free incoming roaming of 300 minutes, outgoing and incoming at 50 paise for intra network calls.
