Bharti Airtel launches IPTV services
The successful launch of DTH by a prominent telecom operator in India, Bharti Airtel, has paved way for the next venture, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) services which will be offered to the subscribers of New Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida. The subscribers are at their choice to choose from interactive 20, enabling online transaction on TV (like booking movie tickets or ordering for pizza) at one button push. A wide range of 100 blockbuster movies on demand round the clock. Facility to pause and record live TV show, and storing favourite programmes for seven days.
The IPTV services come in two packs: The Magic @Home Pack (triple play plan) has 135 channels, 256 broadband speed (unlimited downloading) with a landline connection. The monthly tariff is Rs999.
Combo pack (IPTV and Broadband plan) has the access for 117 channels and 256 kbps broadband speed ( downloading limit is 2.5GB). The services are backed by round the clock customer care.
