Nokia is proving itself in the mobile world market with its array of cutting edge products. Nokia’s journey continues by wrapping all range of products from cheaper version to lucrative Music Xpress, N-Series, and E-series.
Recently Nokia has launched its Full QWERTY E72 though it is visually similar to its previous release Nokia E71 whereas its Keypad has been logically changed for easy use. It satisfies the thirst of people who need to stay in communication.E72 boasts track pad navigation which provides you enough space to navigate and type easily.

As it is touch sensitive you can use it in the same way as track pad on your laptop. The keyboard catches you a contact list, menu list, and shortcut to home, calendar, contacts, inbox and talk, end buttons with finely rubberized keys. But the outer ring of your D pad restricts the movement of your thumb. It is experienced that sometimes the handset space key gets struck and it takes hours to rectify as you have to restart the device.
The manufacturer has added shortcuts to activate the Bluetooth, silent mode and use the camera flash as flashlight. It makes them easier to use and they look as if made of polished metal. Regarding keypad there exists a minor difference to the E71 is the integrated optical pad

Design
When compared to its predecessor E72 is heavier weighing 128g and measures 114 x 58.3 x 10.1 mm which is just slightly smaller and noticeably thinner which creates an impression as durable device. E72 has a slender frame and it is comfortable to handle single handedly. E72 is a well-built phone with stainless-steel black plate and edges. |

The mobile phone privacy software XBLOCKR is unveiled by Aquilonis to the public. Aquilonis offers platform agnostic mobile technology solutions to diverse verticals including Healthcare, Medical Devices, Retail, Enterprise Mobility, Gambling, Advertising etc.
XBLOCKR is built for Symbian, Windows Mobile and BlackBerry, is currently available in few mobile applications marketplaces. It is expected to be available in more marketplaces shortly.
XBLOCKR provides the ability to Duck, Drop or Divert a call on the fly, so users can exercise their privacy. Based on a user’s contact list and call history, a user can specify calls from specific numbers to Duck, Drop or Divert. It’s a great solution to respond to important as well as unsolicited and unwanted calls, as the phone rings.
Ducking an incoming call will disconnect the call. If you have configured your voicemail box, the caller will be directed there. Dropping an incoming call will simulate a network error and end the call. The call will be automatically picked up for a moment and then disconnected. Diverting allows calls to be sent to another number and the user can send a text message back to the caller as well.
There is a ‘Do not disturb’ feature, when on, will duck all incoming calls unless the user has listed it as a ‘Special Number’.
The software is available for a free trial on Symbian (Nokia), Windows Mobile and BlackBerry platforms, and it covers a wide range of mobile handset models. Users can try real time call management privacy features before deciding to purchase the full service. More versions for other platforms will be released soon.
Aquilonis is also excited to announce the opportunity for franchise resellers of the XBLOCKR technology across the US, Europe and Asia. These franchisees will be empowered to run their own sales operations and resell the XBLOCKR core product in their specific markets and localities. It can be customized and localized based on the specific need of the franchisee and the geography.

Huawei, a leader in providing next-generation telecommunications network solutions for operators around the world, today unveiled the industry’ s first 300mm-depth IP platform with 20G/40Gb/s capacity. The CX600-X1 and CX600-X2 (CX600-X1/X2) metro services platform (MSP) enable IP intelligence on metro network edge, drive convergence, improve capability and flexibility for full-service deployment and structurally reduce CAPEX and OPEX, all of which help operators to build full-service broadband metro area network (MAN).
Rapid growth of broadband services drive today’ s metro networks evolving from pipe-type to full-service bearing, which necessitates IP intelligence to metro edge. This requires compact, yet powerful, IP equipment that can sit with massive access nodes to compensate for the lack of IP capability of traditional access equipment. Huawei’ s CX600-X1/X2 MSP addresses this issue by having strong IP capability and a compact size (220mm depth), suitable to be hosted in the same 300mm-depth standard cabinet as access nodes such as DSLAM, MSAN, and transmission equipment. The CX600-X1/X2, together with Huawei’ s CX600-X3/X8/X16, enhances IPTime broadband metro solution that ensures fast and flexible full-service deployment, providing more abundant and intelligent services for users.
“Service providers worry about space, power, and capacity constraints in all areas of their networks, and especially at the edge in access and aggregation areas,” stated Michael Howard, principal analyst at Infonetics Research. “The 220mm depth of Huawei’ s CX600-X1 and -X2 products should be attractive to providers when choosing equipment for their Ethernet business, broadband, and mobile backhaul networks.”
Designed on a hardware-based, non-blocking switching routing platform, the CX600-X1/X2 have significant forwarding capacity of 20G/40G, which can be expanded to 40G/80G in the future. The CX600-X1/X2 have the most comprehensive port types ranging from E1, CPOS, FE, GE, to 10GE, and support rich Layer 2 and Layer 3 features (VLL, VPLS, L3VPN, PWE3, multicast and IPV6) that facilitate flexible service deployment and make the network future-proof. The CX600-X1/X2, by built-in support for all-scenario clock synchronization, especially IEEE 1588v2, also help full-service operators to efficiently deploy their mobile broadband services.
“By leveraging our experience and expertise in optical transmission, access, and IP, Huawei will continue to provide leading end-to-end networking solutions to carriers around the globe and to achieve mutual success with our customers,” said Zha Jun, president of Network, Huawei.
To date, Huawei has deployed more than 620 metro networks worldwide, serving the world’ s top carriers, including Bharti Airtel, China Mobile, China Telecom, China Unicom, Reliance, SingTel, Telefonica, Telecom Malaysia, and Turk Telecom.

Symbian claims a giant transition by turning out as open source by which it can be accessible for free. The majority of the Nokia devices are powered by Symbian which holds the fame of shipping 330 million devices worldwide.

The 10-year old Symbian code is ready, willing, and right open for access and it was Nokia who acquired major share of Symbian and triggered open source project. This paves the way for any individual or organization to modify the Symbian code for any device, from mobile phone to a tablet.
Though Symbian turns out as an open source it has equal competitors especially Google’s Android which is based on a Linux kernel, has become a favorite among handset makers such as Motorola and HTC. And it’s based on an open source foundation too.
Symbian’s move to open source has been completed four months ahead of schedule and it offers mobile developers new ways to innovate.Smartphones based on series s40 will account for 35% of Nokia’s handset shipments, Symbian s60 will account for 55%
